Those of you who know me well know I don’t usually bother with resolutions. But this is one I think I can keep.
I hereby resolve to divest myself of 9 to 10 lbs. Sometime in the next five or (god help me) six weeks.
Happy New Year, everyone!!

- 2008: a meme of review It’s become a bit of a tradition for me to do this end-of-year meme. It’s not as lovely in narrative flow as last year’s seemed to be, but then again, this was a kind of disjointed year, from a bloggy perspective. A lovely, full, hectic, but ultimately wonderful year. It’s...

- Party game ideas for 3 year olds? I’ve just spent a very unsatisfying lunch hour scouring the interwebs for party-game ideas for three year olds. When will I ever learn that all I need to know about life I can find out by asking my bloggy friends? There will be six kids, ages 10 weeks, 2 years...

Ah, the safe bet resolution. Good choice.
yes, definitely one you can keep!!
It’s very important to make reasonable resolutions!
Happy New Year to you, Beloved and the boys!
I resolve to continue to be happy for you about this.
Hehe. Yes, I think you can handle that one.
Although when I gave birth to my last one I was expecting to have lost at least 10 pounds by the time I came home from the hospital, and guess what. I hadn’t lost a pound! A 7 pound baby, a placenta, blood and all and I hadn’t lost a pound! My ankles were really swollen so I’m guessing I was retaining a lot of water, but still! What the????
Anyway, it has all come off now, so don’t fret.
Hee-hee. Good one. I’d like to do the same only without a living being coming out of me.
Good luck – I have 20 to lose.
