How many have your name?

(Okay, so technically I’m not in the USA either, but I couldn’t find the equivalent Canadian tool. And, from what I know, I’m the only Canadian with this name, too.)

  1. Way cool! There are 16 people with my name, which is suprising to me as my name is so French. If I were to go by my married name there are 0. But I know that there is at least one more in Canada.

  5. Ah HA! I tried that on myself, and it also said there were no people in the US with the same name as me. However, if you google me, you will know that isn’t true. There’s a guy with the same fricking name as me living in Iowa. Boo.

  9. Apparently there are 88 people with the same name in the U.S. Hmmmm, and here I thought I was so unique.

  13. There are none of me in the USA, either, but there 37,000 people with the same name as my hubby.
Strange coincidence but more than 99.99% of people named Ingrid in the USA are women! Glad I know that fact!

  17. I already know there is a woman with my name in my town of 100,000 people. And apparently she was recently quoted in the local paper about her political views. A friend of mine emailed me today mentioning it, and said there was a photo alongside the quote and it wasn’t me so she figured the quote wasn’t from me. Oh and there’s a (relatively) famous novelist with the same name too, who doesn’t live in my town. Sometimes I think I shouldn’t have changed my name when I got married… my old one was a multisyllabic nightmare but if I googled myself the first references were to me. (Oh God, what have I just admitted to?!?)

  21. I saw this a few days ago – my grandmother sent it to me. It says that there are zero of me, but I know of at least two others. Oddly, one is living in the same town as me! There were several matches for my last name. Growing up, I hated that my name was so different. Now, I absolutely love it!

  25. 161. My first name isn’t unique but my surname is fairly. There’s practically no people in England with my surname, but a fair few in the US. There are 80 people with my husband’s name, surprising that it’s less than me cos his first name is common as muck.
