The session fee for family portraits is $150, which includes includes my time for the session itself, communications and paperwork, and the creation of an online proof gallery of edited photos from which you may choose your final images. It does not include any prints or files – see prices below. That way you only pay for the images you love, and you don’t have to commit to a portrait package until you see your proofs.
I do not have an indoor studio space, so all sessions are on location at a place of your choosing. Traditional outdoor posed portrait sessions are lovely, but why not consider inviting me along on a family adventure for a storytelling photo session? Storytelling sessions work well for picnics, apple picking, a day at the beach, a trip to the farm, an afternoon at the splash pad, a walk in the woods… the possibilities in and around our beautiful city are endless.
In the spring, summer and fall, I also offer my signature Perfect Porch Portrait Sessions packages, which include prints or files, for $250. Come and have your portraits done on my huge porch and the yard and gardens around our home in Manotick.
High resolution digital files (.jpg format) are $50 each, or choose one of the following packages:
DIY package – session fee plus $250: your choice of 10 high resolution retouched image files. Add a customized archival 4×6 print of each image for an additional $50.
Deluxe DIY package – session fee plus $350: your choice of 20 high resolution retouched image files. Add a customized archival 4×6 print of each image for an additional $75.
Customized packages are always an option. You do not have to choose your package before or at the time of the session. I recommend waiting until you view your proof gallery before you decide whether one of these packages or a custom option will best suit your needs.
Please note that all image files are provided in .jpg format via digital download. Images may be provided on a USB key for an additional fee of $15.

Please print your photos! The advantages of printing through me include professional quality, archival prints and professional management of colour, crop and sharpening. The following price list will give you an idea of the price range for various options.

Individual portrait sessions (for head shots, online avatars, etc.) are $125. The session usually lasts 20 minutes and the fee includes three digital (.jpg) files of your choice delivered by download.
The session fee of $150 must be paid upon booking to secure your booking time and date. Payments can be made with cash, cheque, paypal or (preferred) Interac e-mail transfer.
