Just a few years ago, I could barely recognize a song or two from the annual best-of-summer lists, and now we’re bopping along to Daft Punk and Macklemore (I totally had to google the band names – but I know all the lyrics by heart! in fact, the boys have parody-ized Get Lucky and I find myself singing along about Mexican Monkeys – but that may in fact be a good alternative to them singing the actual lyrics to that one.
