We’re in the car, driving back from our favourite hamburger joint. Simon and Tristan are recounting the day’s adventures, and Tristan tells us how he was playing basketball in the driveway with one of the kids from daycare.<\/p>\n
Tristan<\/em>:<\/strong> “It was fun, but then he pushed me while he was trying to get the ball and I fell down.”<\/p>\n Simon<\/em> <\/strong>(two years younger and four inches shorter than Tristan), fiercely<\/em><\/strong>: “If that guy ever pushes you down again, I’m going to teach him a lesson!”<\/p>\n I suspect that may in fact set the tone for their school years.
