{"id":2495,"date":"2009-07-19T06:00:06","date_gmt":"2009-07-19T11:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/danigirl.ca\/blog\/?p=2495"},"modified":"2009-07-19T09:41:08","modified_gmt":"2009-07-19T14:41:08","slug":"worldwide-photo-walk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/danigirl.ca\/blog\/2009\/07\/19\/worldwide-photo-walk\/","title":{"rendered":"Worldwide Photo Walk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"drop_cap\">O<\/span>n Saturday, I was lucky enough to be one of 50 official Ottawa participants (and about another dozen or two unofficial participants!) in <a href=\"http:\/\/worldwidephotowalk.com\/\">Scott Kelby&#8217;s WorldWide Photo Walk.<\/a>  (Scott Kelby is a Photoshop guru and writes great books about digital photography.)  My good friend <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lifeisgoodatthebeach.ca\">Beach Mama<\/a> was there, too!<\/p>\n<p>It was a fun evening, despite the quick downpour that trapped us under some overhanging branches near the locks for a while.  I got to meet some nice people, including a few I&#8217;d &#8220;met&#8221; previously on Flickr, and it was nice just to be out and about downtown on a Saturday night.  (The walk made a loose half circle around the building I work, though &#8212; certainly not unfamiliar territory for me. I am allowed to upload one or two to the official site, but I can&#8217;t decide which ones I like best.  Will you help me choose?
