{"id":1244,"date":"2008-04-10T13:41:18","date_gmt":"2008-04-10T18:41:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/danigirl.ca\/blog\/2008\/04\/10\/the-day-the-comments-came-back\/"},"modified":"2008-04-10T13:41:18","modified_gmt":"2008-04-10T18:41:18","slug":"the-day-the-comments-came-back","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/danigirl.ca\/blog\/2008\/04\/10\/the-day-the-comments-came-back\/","title":{"rendered":"The day the comments came back"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Remember back when I made the switch from my <a href=\"http:\/\/momm-eh.blogspot.com\">blogger.com domain<\/a> to my own domain, and I was heartbroken that I couldn&#8217;t find a way to import all the old haloscan comments?<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to a 90 minute nap in my lap on the part of Lucas and the easy-peasey <a href=\"http:\/\/justinsomnia.org\/2007\/11\/importing-haloscan-comments-into-wordpress-23-from-blogger\/\">instructions and scripts from this guy<\/a> (rockstar, first class) I managed to import all 10,000 of the old comments!!  (Well, almost.  One file had an error in it, but I&#8217;m hoping to get that ironed out soon.
