I loved his book, and if I wasn’t wary of processed foods before I am now doubly-so. The whole “would your grandmother recognize it” rule is a keeper. And the stuff about refined sugars and flours? *shudder*

I read Pollan’s book when it came out. Excellent. All summer I tried to eat local food from the farmers market, delicious. I don’t know how I’ll fair this winter, but I will still try and find local, whole food products.

I haven’t read these but they do sound interesting. Does he go into detail about what the idea ratio is?

Sounds like a great book. I really enjoyed his book, Second Nature, (at least I think that’s what it was called). I’ve been meaning to read the Omnivore’s Dilemna for ages — that was him too, wasn’t it?
